Mayor of Tower Hamlets John Biggs said:
“Parks in Tower Hamlets mean that even in the heart of urban London, residents still have access to well-maintained, attractive green spaces. The council works hard to ensure all of its parks and open spaces are maintained to the highest standards so everyone can enjoy them. The Green Flag Awards recognise the quality of our open spaces so please do vote for your favourite park.”
Cllr Abdul Mukit, Cabinet Member for Culture and Youth Services added:
“London is such a busy place; our superb tranquil green spaces are needed now more than ever. The Green Flag acknowledges the hard work put in to maintain these high standards.”
