News Desk: Philippine authorities have evacuated over 370,000 people from their homes and closed government offices, businesses and schools as Typhoon Rammasu hit the capital, Manila, leaving destruction in its path. The typhoon, the strongest to hit the country this year, has already torn through the eastern islands, toppling trees and power lines and causing blackouts.
